DIY (Bedazzled Sunglasses)

Tuesday, April 23, 2013

Today I was looking for a way to put a creative spin on my old, boring sunglasses that I hadn't worn in years.  I was browsing through Etsy.com when I stumbled upon a collection by SweetOnTheEyes.  Her pieces are amazing! If you are a fan of the hipster look, you will certainly love these flower girl sunnies.  With that said, I tried my hand at recreating these looks.  My first pair was inspired by the free spirit sensation.  The second pair was inspired by Chanel, more chic and sophisticated.  After picking up some pearls and flower cabochons from Michael's, I was ready to take on this project.  Check it out!

Here's what I used (all from Michael's):
E-6000 Quick Hold Contact Adhesive
Recollections Adhesive Rhinestones
Pearl Crafting Beads
Martha Stewart Mini Cherry Blossom Embellishments
Tweezers
Thin Eyeliner Brush

I'm Back!! (From Barcelona)

Monday, April 22, 2013

I had the lovely opportunity to spend some time in Barcelona, Spain.  This was my second time visiting Spain, and there is always so much to see.  I'm sharing sharing just a small portion of my experience with you all, seeing that Barcelona is such a huge city.  Enjoy!
